DAFF increase to Full Import Declaration charges from 1st July 2023

Changes to Government fees on Import Declarations from 1 July, 2023

Dept of Agriculture Fisheries & Forestry (Biosecurity) has announced another increase of $5 per Import Declaration, from 1 July 2023.

This follows on from their January increase ($9) earlier this year and in addition to other biosecurity cost recovery increases that apply from 1/7/23.    

Consignment Value over AUD 10,000

SEA Freight Declaration (OTHER CHARGES) from $210 > $215  

• Declaration Processing Charge (ABF) $152 (unchanged) and
• DAFF Processing Charge $63 (increase of $5)

AIR Freight Declaration (OTHER CHARGES) from $190 >  $195  

• Declaration Processing Charge (ABF) $152 (unchanged) and
• DAFF Processing Charge $43 (increase of $5)

Consignment Value > AUD 1,000 <AUD 10,000

SEA Freight Declaration (OTHER CHARGES) from $108 >  $113  

• Declaration Processing Charge (ABF) $50 (unchanged) and
• DAFF Processing Charge $63 (increase of $5)

AIR Freight Declaration (OTHER CHARGES) from $88 >  $93  

• Declaration Processing Charge (ABF) $50 (unchanged) and
• DAFF Processing Charge $43 (increase of $5)
